That's a VERY good question to ask someone who has followed his career since I was around twelve. That's well over thirty years ago and I still find the man as exciting and fascinating as I did when I was twelve.
I started collecting autographs at twelve and then photographs and other Jerry Lewis related memorabilia when I was in my early twenties.
I began collecting magazines, lobby cards, complete issues of The Adventures of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and The Adventures of Jerry Lewis, insert posters, record albums, lighters, Al Hirschfeld original artwork, the limited edition clowns from Ron Lee and items of Mr. Lewis' wardrobe from both film and personal life including the holster he wore in his film Pardners!
And then with the help of eBay and other Jerry Lewis collectors and other sources my collection of photographs from about 500 photographs to a staggering incredible 5000 actual still photographs ranging from 4x6 snapshots to 11x14!
In 1999 I created a website dedicated to the both the professional and candid life of Mr. Lewis titled WorldwideJerryLewisFans.com which became one of the first online websites dedicated to Mr. Lewis but the site eventually evolved into BehindtheHiddenMask.com which features some of the great photographs from my collection of his various films and timelines from his childhood to the current in 2012.
Please take a moment to visit my tribute website, sign our Guestbook and "Like" us on Facebook. As always we welcome your comments, suggestions, ideas related to the website and here on Tumblr. The link to the website is: www.behindthehiddenmask.com
You can always e-mail me here at Tumblr by clicking on the Ask link or you can directly e-mail me at the address below:

One of the most asked questions from people who visit my Tumblr and my tribute site is if I have ever met Mr. Lewis? The answer is yes, I have met him several times. Maybe one day I will write about it on here but for now those times are too personal and private to share.
*DISCLAIMER:
I only post photographs from my private collection of 4000+ still photographs that have been digitally archived to preserve the life and art of Mr. Lewis.
I will occasionally post photographs from other celebrities I deeply appreciate and admire like:
** Jack Lemmon
** Harpo Marx
** John F. Kennedy
AND...
If you find any of my photographs from my Behind website on another Tumblr, please drop me a note. I will reward you with a professional reproduced copy of any photograph from either my Tumblr postings or on the Tribute site! Drop me a line at: behind.website@comcast.net and send me a link to the photograph in question. Discretion is assured.
